Andes Mint Cake topped with chocolate ganache and Andes Mints.  Looks like heaven, right?  Oh yes.  It’s so easy to decorate and make! And dripping ganache down the side of any cake is always a brilliant idea.

Chocolate Cake
  1. 1 box devil’s food cake mix
  2. 3 eggs
  3. ½ C. oil
  4. ¾ C. buttermilk or milk
  5. ¾ C. sour cream
  6. 2 tsp. vanilla extract
Green Minty Cream Filling
  1. 1 ¼ C. butter, softened
  2. 1 ½ tsp. peppermint extract
  3. 4-5 C. powdered sugar
  4. green food dye, optional
Chocolate Mint Buttercream
  1. 1 ¼ C. butter, softened
  2. ½ C. unsweetened cocoa powder
  3. 1 ½ tsp. peppermint extract
  4. 2 Tbsp. milk or sour cream
  5. 3-4 C. powered sugar
Chocolate Ganache
  1. ¾ C. chocolate chips
  2. ½ C. heavy whipping cream
  3. Andes Mints for decoration
